Effective Dating for Plan Documents
Xactly Incent 2017-08 enhances plan documents by allowing administrators to modify content with effective dated versions. Administrators can access this feature when editing plan documents in the Document Mgmt > Templates > Plan Document area of the application.
Plan Document Template Builder
This means that plan document content can now be configured specifically for a period of time within a plan year. Incent then intelligently picks the appropriate content based on the hierarchy date.
For example, consider a seasonal bonus section that needs to be active for a particular title only for plan documents that are routed during the first half of the year. In this example, these documents should not be visible to sales reps who assume the title in the second half of the year. Using effective dating of plan documents, admins can now accommodate these types of business cases and more with fewer plan document templates.
Pay Curve Support for Plan Documents
Xactly Incent 2017-08 introduces the ability for administrators to add pay curves to plan document templates (in the Document Mgmt > Templates > Plan Document area).
Pay Curves in Plan Documents
Incent selects the relevant pay curves based on the corresponding assignments. This enables administrators to more effectively communicate pay curve information, increasing transparency by exposing greater detail in total incentive calculations.
Enhanced Plan Document Template Builder
Xactly Incent 2017-08 adds several enhancements to the plan document template builder to simplify plan deployment and reduce the number of plan document templates.
Specifically, when creating or editing documents in the Document Mgmt > Templates > Plan Document area, administrators can now insert context-sensitive variables to dynamically pull in information specific to the person, position, pay curve, plan, rate table, or quota. These variables populate each plan document with the information specific to the plan document owner.
Introduction Section with Dynamic Variables and Conditional Visibility
Each section in a plan document can now also be shown or hidden based on a set of user-defined conditions. With this new capability, administrators can greatly reduce the number of plan documents while ensuring that recipients only see information specific to themselves.
Finally, administrators can also now add a dynamic footer to the plan document PDF view. For example, the term “Company Confidential” can appear at the bottom of each printed page.
Incentive Statement Updates
Xactly Incent 2017-08 offers several enhancements to the Incentive Statement, including the following:
- Total Incentives now appear in the Payments section, representing all commissions, bonuses, and draws for the current period.
- The “as of” period selection now defaults to the latest data in the period, ensuring that the default for the page is the most current and up-to-date available.
- The Adjusted Payment section now allows PPA changes to show in the adjusted amount.
