myContents
The myContents area holds the content created with Xactly Analytics. Content is
organized into folders that are either shared or personal. Types of content that can be
stored in myContents include report and results from Xactly Analytics, and items created
using the dashboards editor, such as HTML content, plain text, and links to other
images, documents, and sites.
You can use the myContents area to locate folders and view folder contents. The
myContents area has two main areas:
• Selection pane. The selection pane, located on the left side of the screen, shows
content saved in the myContents area, such as personal and shared reports and
filters.
• Workspace. The workspace, located to the right of the selection pane, offers an
area where you can view and modify reports.
When you make a selection from the selection pane, such as clicking a saved report,
your selection appears in the workspace enabling you to work with it.
Displayed Information
If the Show Hidden Items checkbox appears at the bottom of the page, you can
select this checkbox to see hidden folders. This option is available if the setting for the
See Hidden Items privilege is enabled by your site’s administrator.
What you see in the myContents area depends on the security settings specified for
you by your site’s administrator. For example, you might see the folders and contents
in your personal dashboard, and any shared folders and items that you have the
authority to work with.
note: When modifying a shared dashboard in the myContents area, Analytics does
not display the My Folders section in the left pane. Xactly Analytics does this to prevent
you from accidentally placing private content (in My Folders) in a shared folder.
