Administrator Setup
Introduction
You can use the Setup area to specify general application settings that identify incentive compensation plans, control compensation payment, and customize the user experience for your payees.
note: Before you can use Xactly Incent, you need to set up several required elements (available in the Setup area) including business groups, user access, roles, users, the incentive calendar, company messages, and type codes. Xactly Incent provides some default setup options to help get you started.
What You Can Do
You can complete the following tasks in the Setup area:
- Manage business groups
- Set business-wide preferences
- Manage user roles (such as admins, executives, managers, and payees)
- Manage users
- Define calendars
- Set exchange rates
- Configure the following areas:
- Credit types
- Unit types
- Order types
- Reason codes
- Earning groups
- Error messages
- Employee Status
- Batch types
- External processes (Incent only)
- Process groups (Incent only)
- Create custom fields
- Manage tags
- Manage the Translation Workbench (Incent only)
- Customize the following areas:
Access Control
The Setup privilege with its underlying pages, located under Setup > Roles, is required to access the Setup area.
