Alerting Users to No Data in the Results

When the results of an analysis return no data, Xactly Analytics displays a standard
messages to users. Rather than display the default message, you can create a customized
message to alert users. This message enables you to provide your own explanation
for why the analysis returned no data.

Create a Custom Message

1. Create a new report, or open and edit an existing report to which you want to
add a custom message.

2. Click the Results tab.

3. Click the Screen Shot 2016-08-22 at 9.59.32 AM button (Edit Analysis Properties). The Analysis Properties dialog
appears.

4. In the No Results Settings field, choose Display Custom Message using the dropdown
list.

5. In the Header field, type the text of the header for the custom message.

6. In the Message field, type the explanatory text.

7. Click the OK button.
