Business groups are a grouping mechanism that can be used to create logical grouping for your organization.  Examples include grouping by regions or by business units. They are the foundation of Business Group Security and are displayed in People, Positions, Results and Reports. Business groups are also assigned a currency that can be leveraged for calculation.  One seed business group is provided called Default Business group, its use is optional.
