Credit Assignment Order/Dimension Mappings
You can use the Order/Dimension Mappings area to manage mappings between
orders and dimensions.

The following table describes the information you can specify when managing order/
dimension mappings
| Step | Field | Description |

| Step 1 | Dimension | The dimension/dimension group to use in the mapping. |
| Step 2 | Dimension | (Optional) The dimension in the dimension hierarchy. |
| Step 3 | Dimension Attribute | The dimension attribute to use in the mapping |
| Step 4 | Type | The data type of the mapping. |
| Mapped Order Attribute | The order attribute to use in the mapping. | |
| Description | (Optional) A description of the mapping. |

This section describes how to manage order/dimension mappings.
Display All Mappings
• Click the Setup tab, then click Order/Dimension Mappings in the secondary menu.
The Order/Dimension Mappings screen appears displaying all fields in the results area.
Find Specific Mappings
1. Click the Setup tab, then click Order/Dimension Mappings in the secondary menu.
The Order/Dimension Mappings screen appears displaying all fields in the results
area.
2. Type part of the dimension attribute name in the Find Mappings field.
note: The Find Mappings field does not recognize regular expressions using characters
such as * or ?.
3. Click the 
button.
The search results appear in the results area.
4. Click the Clear Search button to clear the search terms, as required.
Add a Mapping
1. Click the 
button to display the New Mapping dialog.

2. Click the 
button next to the Dimension field, select a dimension, and click 
the button.
Alternatively, click the 
button, specify the dimension information,
and click the 
button. Click the 
button to close the New Dimension dialog.
3. Click the 
button. The Step 2: Select a Dimension in Dimension Hierarchy
screen appears.
4. Click the 
button next to the Dimension field, select a dimension, and click 
the button.

5. Click the button. The Step 3: Select a Dimension Attribute screen
appears.
6. Click the 
button next to the Dimension Attribute field, select an attribute,
and click the button.

close the New Attribute dialog.
7. Click the 
button. The Step 4: Select an Order Attribute screen appears.
8. Click the 
button next to the Mapped Order Attribute field, select an
attribute, and click the 
button.
Alternatively, click the 
button, specify the field information, and
click thebutton. Click the button to close the Add Field dialog.
9. Click the button.
Alternatively, click the 
down-arrow on the button, and choose Save and add
another to add another mapping.
10. (Optional) After saving, click the 
button, and choose Add
Another from the drop-down menu to add another mapping.
11. Click the button to close the dialog.
Edit an Existing Mapping
1. Select an existing mapping from the list in the results area. The Attribute Details dialog
appears.
2. Modify the mapped order attribute and description, as required.
3. Click the 
button to update the attribute details.
You can undo changes before saving by clicking the button,
and choosing Undo from the drop-down menu.
4. Click the button to close the Attribute Details dialog.
