This section describes how to integrate Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Integrate Microsoft Dynamics CRM

1. Contact Xactly Support to request access to Microsoft Dynamics CRM for your
business.
Xactly will email you an Xactly Solutions ZIP file that you need to import into
Microsoft Dynamics CRM (as explained below).

2. Save the Xactly Solutions ZIP file to local storage on your machine.

3. Unzip the Xactly Solutions ZIP file and navigate to the extracted folder

4. Update the token for your business.

Do the following:

a. Open the WebResources folder (in the extracted folder), and edit the following
file:
new_xactlyinitjs
b. Locate the following line in the file:
var businessToken=”token”;
c. Change the string “token” to the business token you received from Xactly.
For example:
var businessToken=”123456789a123456789b123456789c”;
d. Save the file.

5. Select all the files in the expanded folder (all the files that appeared in the original
ZIP file), and create a new ZIP file.
This new ZIP file contains the file you edited to include your business token.

6. Import the updated Xactly Solution ZIP file into Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Do the following:

a. Log in to your Microsoft Dynamics CRM account as an administrator.
b. Click the Settings button in the navigation menu on the left. The Settings
screen appears.
c. Click the Customization > Customizations button in the navigation menu on
the left. The Customization screen appears.
d. Click the Solutions button. The All Solutions screen appears.
e. Click the button. The Select Solution Package dialog appears.
f. Click the Browse button, navigate to the Xactly Solutions ZIP file, and click the
Open button.
g. Click the Next button. Microsoft Dynamics CRM imports the Xactly Solutions ZIP
file.
h. Click the Close button.

7. Click the button. The Xactly applications appear in the navigation
menu on the left.

Configure Internet Explorer 9

When using Microsoft Internet Explorer 9, you need to first specify how cookies are
handled by your browser.

1. Using Internet Explorer, choose Tools > Internet Options from the main menu. The
Internet Options dialog appears.

2. Click the Privacy tab.

3. Click the Advanced button.

4. Select the Override automatic cookie handling checkbox.

5. Select the Accept checkbox for both First-party Cookies and Third-party Cookies.

6. Click the OK button to update your privacy settings, and click the OK button
again to dismiss the dialog.
