Connect SOAP API Developer’s Guide Exploring Primitive Data Types
Primitive data types are used to provide a standardized way to define, send, receive,
and interpret basic data types in the SOAP messages exchanged between client
applications and the Xactly Connect Web service.
note: When writing a client application, follow the data typing rules defined for your
programming language and development environment. The development tool will
then correctly handle the mapping of typed data in your programming language
with the corresponding SOAP data types.
Table 5 describes the primitive data types used with Xactly Connect.

System Fields
System fields are read-only fields found in Xactly objects. Xactly Connect updates
these fields automatically during processing.
