Sorting Columns

You can specify the sorting for results that are displayed in graphs, pivot tables, tables,
and trellises. The sorting options provide the ability to sort by a single column or by multiple
columns, each in either ascending or descending order. By creating sorts for multiple
columns, you can specify multiple level sorts such as second-level and third-level
sorts of the data.

Sort a Report Based on Columns

1. Click the button to access the corresponding column menu, and choose the
sort option using the cascading menu.
The column icon changes to indicate the sort order.
The following table describes the available sort orders options

2. To clear sorting for a specific column, click the button  to access the corresponding
column menu and choose Clear Sort using the cascading menu.

3. To clear sorting for all columns, click the  button to access the corresponding
column menu and choose Clear All Sorts in All Columns using the cascading
menu.
