Using the Title View

Use the title view to add a title, a subtitle, a logo, a link to a custom online help page,
and timestamps to the results. Titles and subtitles are formatted using the style sheet in
use at your organization.
A title view is always added to the results, as the first view.

How to …

Add a Title View

1. Create or modify the report with which you want to work.

2. Click the Results tab.

3. Click the Screen Shot 2016-08-18 at 1.14.37 PM button and choose the Title using the drop-down, cascading
menu. The title view settings page appears.

4. In the Title field, type the text to display as the title.
If you do not specify a title, the name of the saved analysis is used as the title. For
unsaved analyses, the title is blank.
Select the Display Saved Name checkbox to show the saved name of the analysis.
Deselecting the checkbox hides the saved name.

note: Do not include HTML markup with the title text.

5. In the Logo field, type a URL that points to a logo image or graphic (to display in
the title).

6. In the Subtitle field, type the text to display as a subtitle. The subtitle follows the title
on a new line.

7. In the Started Time field, specify whether to display a timestamp indicating when
an analysis started to execute.

You can choose from among the following options:

• Do not display
• Display time
• Display date
• Display date and time

8. In the Help URL field, type the URL to a custom help file (or other related information).
Xactly Analytics displays a help icon that links to the custom help file (or other
information) in the title.

Format a Title View

1. Create or modify the report with which you want to work.

2. Click the Results tab.

3. In the Views pane, select the title view and click theScreen Shot 2016-08-17 at 1.15.47 PM button. The view appears
in the workspace.

4. Click theScreen Shot 2016-08-18 at 1.14.41 PM button (Format Title View). The Format Title View dialog appears.

5. Specify the cell, border, and additional formatting options, as required.

6. Click the Screen Shot 2016-08-17 at 4.53.31 PMbutton to save the view.

7. Click the Screen Shot 2016-08-17 at 10.20.53 AMbutton to save the report.

 

Import a Title View Format

1. Create or modify the report with which you want to work.

2. Click the Results tab.

3. In the Views pane, select the title view and click the Screen Shot 2016-08-17 at 1.15.47 PMbutton. The view appears
in the workspace.

4. Click the Screen Shot 2016-08-18 at 1.15.02 PM button (Import Formatting). The Select Analysis dialog appears.

5. Select the analysis from which you want to import the formatting, and click the OK
button.

6. Click the Screen Shot 2016-08-17 at 4.53.31 PMbutton to save the view.

7. Click the Screen Shot 2016-08-17 at 10.20.53 AM button to save the report.
