This section describes the new feature available in Xactly Connect 2016-09:

• Ability to Upload Data Using .XLSX Format Files

Ability to Upload Data Using .XLSX Format Files

Xactly Connect 2016-09 enhances a developer’s ability to upload people and orders
(using the upload operation) by offering Microsoft XLSX-format upload templates for
the People and Orders objects.

Specifically, the upload operation now offers the following new options for the objectType
parameter:

• OrderStageXLSX—XLSX template
• OrderStageXLSXZip—XLSX template (as a ZIP file)
• PersonXLSX—XLSX template

The XLSX templates improve the user experience by offering enhanced support of
special characters, date formatting, and various other usability updates. The new
templates are available immediately for download directly from within the Incent UI.

note: For backward compatibility, all existing object types continue to be supported
for upload.
