Xactly Incent 2017-05 New Features

This article describes the new features available in Xactly Incent 2017-05, which include:

New Commission Rules Area

Xactly Incent 2017-05 significantly enhances how administrators can now create and manage commission rules using the application. To begin, all commission rules (including the Percent to Goal rule) have been moved from the Rules Library to a new sub-tab called Commission Rules (in the Plan Design area).

Using this single, unified, and user friendly area, administrators can now quickly and easily create, edit, delete, and manage the following types of commission rules:

  • Commission – Clawback
  • Commission – Flat Rate
  • Commission – Highest Rate
  • Commission – Percent to Goal
  • Commission – Rate Table
  • Commission – Rate Tier Match

Administrator can also search and filter commission rules, as well as copy commission rules and download the audit history for a rule.

Effective Dating/Version Control of Commission Rules

Xactly Incent 2017-05 also adds the ability for administrators to create versions of all commission rules. This allows administrators to effective date rules and make changes to existing rules without having to remove or replace them.


Commission Rule Versions

New Result Classifications

Xactly Incent 2017-05 introduces result classification to the new Commission Rules area. This gives administrators the ability to classify each result into a normalized category for use in reporting and benchmarking. Administrators can also use result classification to filter and report on streamlined categories, saving time and simplifying report creation.

Note: if you exported your rules prior to the Xactly Incent 2017-05 release, your export file will no longer be valid. Attempting to import this file following the Xactly Incent 2017-05 release will fail.

Quota Options added to Flat Rate Rule

Xactly Incent 2017-05 adds Quota and Quota Period fields to the Flat Rate commission rule as optional fields, allowing administrators to associate a quota with the rule. These associated quotas are stamped on results, and are available for reference in Analytics reporting.

DocuSign Integration with Xactly eDocs

Xactly Incent 2017-05 makes DocuSign integration (previously in beta) now generally available to everyone. With this feature, administrators can now secure plan documents using DocuSign electronic signatures when using Xactly eDocs.

Multiple Plans on a Template

Xactly Incent 2017-05 now allows administrators to assign multiple plans to the same plan document in the Document Management Template Builder (in the Document Mgmt > Templates > Plan Document area). This feature should allow admins to reduce the total number of templates that they need to create to route plans.
