Xactly Incent 2018-02 New Features
This article describes the new features available in Xactly Incent 2018-02, which include:
- New Payment Summary Report
- Additional Options for Plan Document Routing (Beta)
- New Login Experience
New Payment Summary Report
Xactly Incent 2018-02 introduces a new report called Payment Summary specifically for customers using prior period processing. This report allows users to see how prior period adjustments affect draws, balances, and ultimately payments. It also illustrates how balances carry from period to period, enabling users to drill down to see underlying details.
note: This report is only available to businesses using prior period processing (PPP). For more information, see Understanding Prior Period Processing (PPP).
The Payment Summary report is accessible in the following areas of Incent:
- Reports > Report Folders > Team Payment Summary
- myTeam > Team Payment Summary
- myIncentives > Payment Summary
The following shows the Team Payment Summary report (in the Reports > Report Folders area):

Administrators can customize the Payment Summary report using a standard interface accessible in the Reports > Customize > Payment Summary area.
A Note About Permissions
To access this report, administrators need to set specific permissions for individual payees, managers, and administrators and executives. For more information about the required permissions, refer to the Team Payment Summary article.
Additional Options for Plan Document Routing (Beta)
Xactly Incent 2018-02 introduces the ability for administrators to leverage a lookup table to dynamically assign specific signature types to plan documents routed to a routing group. This allows greater flexibility when routing to large groups of payees with different signing requirements.
The new capability is accessible as part of the Route Plan Documents dialog when creating or editing a routing list, or routing a document to a list (in the Docs > Route > Plan Documents By Person area of the application).

Using the Signature Type field, administrators can specify how Incent should determine the signature type to use. Note that the Signature Type field only appears if your business has enabled DocuSign eSignatures (in the Setup > Customize > DocuSign Integration area) and you have selected a workflow path that includes a DocuSign signature type.
Xactly Incent 2018-02 also updates routing groups to allow administrators to download a list of the people included in the group, and to skip certain individuals in the workflow without physically removing them from the group.
New Login Experience
Xactly is integrating a security enhancement into the application’s login experience. Prior to the Xactly Incent 2018-02 release, users signed in to Xactly products on a page that included both the Username and Password fields on the same page.
Starting with Xactly Incent 2018-02, a new login experience splits the login process into two separate pages.

This enhancement works towards introducing a new authentication solution that complements traditional passwords and enhances credential security. Note that the login process does not otherwise change.
