Updated Sandbox Login Experience

Xactly Incent 2018-08 updates the Sandbox login experience to use the two-step process used by other applications in the Incent product suite. This enhancement provides a more consistent experience for those using both Sandbox and Incent (in production), making it easier to test authentication configurations in Sandbox.

Beginning with the 2018-08 release, all Sandbox users can access the login page at https://login-sandbox.xactlycorp.com.

Note that if your username is used with only one Sandbox business, the new login URL is the only change. If, however, your username is connected with multiple Sandbox businesses, you are prompted to choose a pod (for example Sandbox 1, Sandbox 2, etc.) after entering your username.  (If your pod was previously sandbox.xactlycorp.com, choose Sandbox 1 from the list.)

New System Functions in Formulas and Rule Conditions

Xactly Incent 2018-08 adds six new system functions that administrators can use with person or order item string fields when defining Relational formulas in the Plan Design > Formulas area.

The new system functions, accessible using the System Functions drop-down list, are:

  • Contains
  • EndsWith
  • IsNotNull
  • IsNull
  • Matches
  • StartsWith

TotalCommissionValue and QuotaAttainment System Function Enhancements

Xactly Incent 2018-08 enhances the TotalCommissionValue and QuotaAttainment system functions when defining Relational formulas in the Plan Design > Formulas area.

Specifically, the TotalCommissionValue and QuotaAttainment system functions now support the selection of multiple credit types, as shown in the following dialog box:

The TotalCommissionValue system function now also supports selecting QTD and YTD period types.

New SplitAmountPercentage Formula Component

Xactly Incent 2018-08 adds the SplitAmountPercentage business component to the OrderItem, CreditOrderItem, and RelOrderItem data objects (when composing a formula in the Plan Design > Formulas area).

This makes it much easier for administrators to create formulas based on the percentage of the split amount.

New Percent to Goal Highest Tier Commission Rule

Xactly Incent 2018-08 adds a new Percent to Goal Highest Tier commission rule to the options available when creating a new rule in the Plan Design > Commission Rules area.

As with the existing Percent to Goal rule, administrators can use this rule when the rate is based on quota attainment as it relates to the personal target. However, instead of the rate being determined as the slope of the attainment/target line, the rate is the % Personal Target for the appropriate tier.

Enhanced Consolidated Audit Report

Xactly Incent 2018-08 enhances the consolidated audit report available in the Data > Audit area by adding the following new object types to the list of available objects:

  • Lookup Tables
  • Pay Curves
  • People
  • Plans

French Canadian Language Support

Xactly Incent 2018-08 adds French (Canada) as a supported language when defining active business languages (using the BUSINESS_LANGUAGES_ACTIVE preference in the Setup > Preferences area).

With this addition, Incent now makes 16 languages available to enhance the end user experience.

Advanced Search Performance Improvements

Xactly Incent 2018-08 offers significant performance improvements to Advanced Search, available with Prior Period Processing. The Xactly Support team will be opening a support case for each customer using this feature to discuss any details necessary to take advantage of the improvements.

Enhanced Messages and Submit Inquiry Using Mobile Apps

Xactly Incent 2018-08 enhances the Xactly Incent for iOS and Android mobile apps to include full support for the Messages Inbox.

Mobile users can now access the Messages area to display their inbox and sent messages, as well as compose new messages. Users can now also reply to messages and delete messages, as needed.

In addition, the mobile apps now feature an enhanced Submit Inquiry capability, allowing users to submit inquiries from the Incentive Statement as well as the detail drill down for credits, bonuses, commissions, and payments.
