Xactly Incent 2018-11 Release Notes

This article outlines the issues that have been resolved or improved in the 2018-11 release.

General Enhancements

  • (Resolved Issue) Users can now update their profile photo, as expected, when using Google Chrome.
  • (Resolved Issue) When using Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, certain text boxes appeared too small and could not be resized. These text entry areas can now be resized.
  • (Resolved Issue) In organizations using DocuSign signatures, end users (non-administrators) could previously see documents with a Queued for DocuSign status. These users are now only able to see documents after the documents achieve Pending status.

Home

  • (Resolved Issue) Administrators are now able to run the Admin Report from the myHome dashboard when the date preference is set to YYYY-MM-DD.
  • (Resolved Issue) In some cases, Business Group Administrators were not able to return results in the Home > Search Orders and Results area. This has been resolved.

Organization

  • (Resolved Issue) In certain cases, downloading people after specifying search criteria caused the download to fail. This has been resolved.

Plan Design

  • (Resolved Issue) Percent to Goal commission rules now save correctly when the rule name or result name includes a dash (“-“) character.
  • (Resolved Issue) When searching in the Plan Design > Lookup Tables area, searches now function correctly for title and position names.
  • (Resolved Issue) The Credit Type list now shows all credit types when creating attainment measures in the Plan Design > Attainment Measures area.

Reports

  • (Resolved Issue) Previously, removing Adjusted Payment As Of in the Reports > Customize > Payments area also removed Original Payment from the incentive statement. This has been resolved.

Orders

  • (Resolved Issue) On the Processed page (in the Orders > Orders area), the timestamp listed the user’s time zone correctly, but the time was always in GMT. The correct time is now displayed according to the user’s time zone preference.
  • (Resolved Issue) When using Prior Period Processing, payment results downloads did not contain the Item Payment column in some cases. This has been resolved.
  • (Resolved Issue) Since Purge by Batch is not a supported Process Group step when using Prior Period Processing, Incent now displays an appropriate warning that this step will be skipped with Prior Period Processing.

Data

  • (Resolved Issue) After downloading a lookup table report in the Data > Audit area, the date range is no longer reset to the default.
  • (Resolved Issue) In rare circumstances, rule library exports in the Data > Export area could fail with an error. This has been resolved.
  • (Resolved Issue) Among multiple improvements to pay curve downloads in the Data > Audit area, the data included in the Object and Element columns is now more consistent with the other audit reports.
  • (Resolved Issue) Importing a lookup table in the Data > Import area now returns an error when assignments or related objects do not already exist. The assignments and objects must exist in Incent prior to the assignment specified in the import.
  • (Resolved Issue) Downloading a rate table report in the Data > Audit area no longer returns a Deleted action when the rate tier has been uploaded. In addition, changes to rate tier names now appear correctly in the Element Name column.

Plan Documents

  • (Resolved Issue) In rare circumstances, plan documents might not have displayed the expected rate table or pay curve information. This issue has been resolved.
  • (Resolved Issue) Plan document quota table formatting now appears the same in the routed document as it does in the preview when dynamic variables are included.
  • (Resolved Issue) In cases when the plan document approver and reviewer are the same person, the plan document can now be approved by the user.

Workflows

  • (Resolved Issue) When interacting with workflows, the Accept and Decline buttons now correctly appear when the web browser zoom is set below 100%. Similarly, the Accept and Decline buttons now display the entire label when the label has been customized to use the maximum number of characters.
  • (Resolved Issue) Users can now enter comments as part of a workflow when a document is in Pending Review status.
  • (Resolved Issue) In certain cases, user-initiated workflows with the Based on Users workflow type did not route successfully. This has been resolved.

eDocs & Approvals

  • (Resolved Issue) After downloading the list of people in a routing list (in the Docs > Route > Plan Doc by Person area), a notification now appears, as expected, on the My Downloads icon in the application header (near the top-right of the screen).
  • (Resolved Issue) Routing a payment file or quota approval now works correctly in cases when the manager has more than 1000 direct reports.
  • (Resolved Issue) When reviewing the list of people in a routing list ( in the Docs > Route > Plan Doc by Person area), hovering over a person’s name now correctly displays the entire name of the person, even when the name is truncated in the table.
  • (Resolved Issue) When reviewing the list of people in a routing list (in the Docs > Route > Plan Doc by Person area), changing the sort order of a column and then navigating to another page of results now correctly preserves the selected sort order on all pages.
  • (Resolved Issue) When using in the Docs > Track area, administrators can now view documents associated with users who have since been deleted.

Modeling

  • The Setup > Customize > Proration area is now available in Xactly Modeling.

Analytics

  • (Resolved Issue) Sorting by person name in Analytics now functions correctly, following the same sort behavior as Incent.

iOS and Android Apps

  • The Incentive Statement has been greatly improved in cases when the statement has been customized to remove payment options such as the Current Period and Previous Period sections.
