Xactly Incent 2019-02 Release Notes

This article outlines the issues that have been resolved or improved in the 2019-02 release.

Incent

Update (March 28, 2019)

  • Customers using PPP and/or Advanced Search will no longer be able to use “partial string” or “contains” searches on the following search fields. For example, searching for ‘abc’ will only find ‘abc’. It will not find ‘abc123’.
    • Orders > Orders > Processed – All String Custom Fields

Update (March 27, 2019)

  • (Resolved Issue) Access to the Docs tab was not allowed for users with limited role privileges.

Update (March 22, 2019)

  • (Resolved Issue) Commissions generated from a single order were not displaying correctly on the Incentive Statement commission drill-down.
  • (Resolved Issue) Date values in lookup tables can now be uploaded in date format which matches the user uploading the data. This is true for lookup tables assigned to plans, positions, or titles.
  • (Resolved Issue) Access to the Data > Audit page was incorrectly requiring the Setup > Customize privilege and the Reports > Customize privilege.
  • (Resolved Issue) In certain cases, PPP Advanced Search was not returning all commission records.

Update (March 15, 2019)

  • (Resolved Issue) Calculations involving a lookup table with a plan assignment using a date format other than MM-DD-YYYY were not completing.

Update (March 11, 2019)

  • Added the PAYCURVE_RELEASE_SCOPE_TO_ATTAINMENT business preference (in the Setup > Preferences area). Enabling the preference allows the pay curve commission release process to be consistent with the threshold period defined in the attainment measure of the percent to goal rule.
  • Improved processing time when commission releases include pay curve calculations.
  • (Resolved Issue) In a specific scenario, the routing of plan documents did not complete and required assistance from Xactly Support.

Update (February 27, 2019)

  • (Resolved Issue) Objectives administrators were not able to view all periods on Plan Design > Periods.
  • Improved processing time when using commission releases by earning group.
  • (Resolved Issue) When running a Data > Audit report for users, data could be returned for users outside of the selected date range.

General

  • (Resolved Issue) Administrators can now impersonate a user with two different people records, with both records displaying correctly in the browser.
  • (Resolved Issue) Creating tags in the Plan Design > Attainment Measures and Plan Design > Draws areas now successfully appear automatically. Administrators no longer need to refresh the page for the tags to appear.
  • (Resolved Issue) Filtering unit types for Commission rules now work a consistent manner.
  • (Resolved Issue) Duplicate audit items no longer appear in Pay Curve audits.
  • (Resolved issue) When releasing commissions, Incent now provides a clearer error message if any issues are found.
  • (Resolved Issue) Plan, people, and lookup table audits no longer produce gateway timeout errors.

Dates

  • (Resolved Issue) The date format in the Lookup Table user interface now matches the date localization of the user.
  • (Resolved Issue) Dates entered in a quota custom field now download in the correct date format rather than as a string of numbers.
  • (Resolved Issue) Quota download files now show periods in the order configured in the calendar.
  • (Resolved Issue) Detailed drill-downs from pods on the dashboard now display the date format set as part of a user’s preference.

Browsers

  • (Resolved Issue) When using Microsoft Internet Explorer, Download Full Audit label in the Setup > Custom Fields area no longer overlaps with the Recent Changes label.

eDocs & Approvals

  • (Resolved Issue) User-initiated documents with attachments now route consistently with the attachment.
  • (Resolved Issue) Dynamic variables can now be copied and pasted in a plan document template.
  • (Resolved Issue) Plan documents now successfully route people on a routing list that have apostrophes in their position name.

iOS and Android Apps

iOS

  • Added support for devices with notched bezels to remove the extra black bars from the interface (on iPhone X and later).

iOS and Android

  • Removed the URL Settings menu from the side navigation when logged in. This menu is now only available on the login screen.
  • Enhanced the user interface for DocuSign documents when filtering and reviewing plan documents awaiting approval.
  • The app no longer displays an error message when submitting an inquiry message that exceeds the maximum numbers of characters. Instead, a character counter is displayed when composing messages informing users when the limit is approaching.
  • (Resolved Issue) The app now displays an appropriate message when users are unable to log in because Incent mobile access has not yet been enabled by a business administrator.
