Welcome to the Xactly Credit Assignment Reference Guide

Xactly Credit Assignment provides a powerful set of tools for automating the assignment of credits based on territory rules that you define. The application consists of three principal areas: Setup, Territory Management, and Credit Assignment. This guide describes how to use the Setup area to define roles within the application, and then assign roles to users.

The guide then describes how you can use the Territory Management and Credit Assignment areas to define territory rules and then process orders through these rules to automatically generate credit assignments.

note: Roles defined in Xactly Incent do not apply to the Credit Assignment application.You need to define roles for the Credit Assignment application within the application itself.
